This is a rope swing my sister and Dustin made in may of last year. Addilynn loves it but it is really hard to swing her on it! We might have to invest in a little girl swing instead of this big kid swing!

Playing bubbles

This picture was taken last week when it was really nice we had Addilynn outside doing yard work all day! We took a break to pay bubbles. I would have never thought of bubbles if it weren't for her aunt Alaina! Thanks again by the way!

So this was a two picture day because you have to see the sequence of events that happened this day to understand her emotions while the poor thing was battling her sickness. The first is a picture of her playing with me with her toys. I told her to smile and this is the face she has been making (or some variation with or without tongue it depends on her mood). After this picture is what happened next... I shut the door.

That is all it took for her to fly off the handle! She didn't want the door closed. I shut it because she was slamming it into her wall so I shut it. Plain and simple right? WRONG She crawled over to the door and tried to open it and when it wouldn't open she threw a fit. So what baby wants baby gets and after her cry face it was open again. I know they shouldn't always get what they want but I have learned to choose my battles with her at a very young age! The door is one battle I wont be fighting. She will learn on her own when she slams her fingers in it or is re painting her wall. Whatever comes first!

It is so funny to watch her suck on the straw her face cracks me up!

Here is another to make up for missing a day... or two. Sorry Nanny M I will try to keep up! ;) This is her new face that she makes when you tell her to smile. She looks this way in a few pictures that I have been taking lately. What a dork! I wonder how long this funny face will last?

Blanket fort

This is Addilynn's new favorite game. She loves to play under blankets so our living room gets turned into a fort on a regular basis! It is so funny to watch her learning to play like a big kid.

This isn't the best picture but it documents how we all looked on our journey home from the Coast! We were all beat. It was a great trip and we would do it again today if we could.
